Durch die mit Korund erzeugte Oberflächenstruktur entsteht eine gleichmäßige, matte Oberfläche. Soll die Oberfläche nach dem Vernickeln, Verzinken oder Eloxieren glänzen, muss diese durch Glasperlenstrahlen vorbehandelt werden. Durch das Korundstrahlen können wir in vielen Fällen auch Frässpuren entfernen, sodass ein vorheriges Schleifen der Teile nicht notwendig ist.
